Stephanie Yanes is a writer and social impact professional based in New York. The daughter of Salvadoran immigrants, she weaves themes of identity, belonging, and resilience into both her creative and community work. Stephanie is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work at Rutgers University and serves as a program manager at Life Story Club, a nonprofit that fosters storytelling and connection among older adults. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Manhattanville College. Her poetry and stories have been shared at the New York City Poetry Festival, ArtsWestchester, and The Moth Grand Slam stage.
